Joel Segal Books is housed on three floors of a
beautiful 17th century building in Topsham, an ancient port on the River
Exe.
Our large general stock covers many areas of interest, including Devon and West Country Topography, British and World Topography, History (especially Social History and Archaeology), The Arts, Transport and English Literature. We have a large stock of fiction titles.
The stock is mainly out-of-print and secondhand books, both paperback and hardback, including antiquarian. We stock a few new titles of local interest.
We offer a search service for books we don't have in stock, and also have an affordable photocopying facility.
Joel Segal, the partner responsible for buying, has been dealing in books for 30 years. Lily Neal, his business partner, manages the shop and aims to provide a special atmosphere in which book lovers with varied interests will feel at home.
